Job summary

Willmeng Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager in achieving budget and schedule goals on construction projects. You will help maintain a safe site, manage document control, and support subcontractors and field staff in a collaborative team environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of construction engineering experience, a BS or MS in construction-related fields, and proficiency with Procore and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction engineering experience.
• BS or MS in Construction Engineering preferred, or BS in Engineering with relevant experience.
• HVAC experience is preferred.
• Procore preferred; strong MS Office skills.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager to meet financial and schedule goals.
• Support billing processes with the PM.
• Assist superintendent with RFIs, coordination, and permits.
• Coordinate close-out documents, warranties, and manuals.
• Manage project document control (RFIs, submittals, drawings, specs).
• Coordinate with client, subcontractors, and superintendents on requests.
• Participate in budget planning and monthly budget meetings.
• Assist in owner checklists and submittals; attend job walks.
