Job summary

Australia-Employment is seeking a Project Engineer for multifamily construction in the Denver area. You will manage engineering activities, coordinate with architects and PMs, and ensure changes are processed efficiently on premier multifamily projects.

The role requires at least 1+ year of construction project engineering experience, strong communication, and proficiency with CM software. This is an on-site, full-time position in Denver, CO.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in construction project engineering.
  • Experience with RFPs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in construction management software and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines/budget constraints.
  • Solid understanding of safety and compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all project engineering activities, including RFP preparation, submittals, and change orders.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Engineer to join our clients team in the multifamily construction sector in Denver, Superior, & Aurora (3 Openings). This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, showcasing your talent and expertise in construction management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project engineering process, from preparing RFPs and processing submittals to managing change orders.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all project engineering activities, including the preparation of RFPs, processing submittals, and managing change orders.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other team members to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Review project plans and specifications to identify potential issues and propose solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, contracts, and change orders.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with plans and specifications, and address any issues that arise.
  • Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Implement and adhere to all safety and compliance measures related to construction projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in construction project engineering
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, including the preparation of RFPs, processing submittals, and managing change orders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients.
