Job summary

Harder Mechanical Contractors seeks a Project Engineer to plan, schedule, and execute project scopes while coordinating with field teams to ensure safety, schedule adherence, and quality. This entry-level path leads into project management across multiple markets.

You will support review of drawings, cost estimation, and document control while collaborating with diverse stakeholders and traveling to broaden market exposure.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years of construction management experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business Management, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering and/or equivalent experience or education.
• Proficient in MS Office and Bluebeam; comfortable with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, scope, and quantities for each project.
• Coordinate with design engineers, owner representatives, and team members.
• Monitor field construction for compliance with plans and specs.
• Engage in work sequence planning and package preparation.
• Track progress and update status weekly.
• Mentor new engineers and assist the project manager as needed.
• Estimate future work and manage labor/cost estimates.
