Harder Mechanical Contractors is seeking a Project Engineer to plan, schedule, and execute project scopes across commercial, technology, and industrial sectors. You will coordinate with field labor to ensure safe, on-time, and high-quality work as an entry point for a project management career.

This salaried position requires reviewing drawings, managing scopes, and mentoring junior engineers while supporting the project manager and estimating future work.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of construction management experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business Management, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and compile project scope and quantities.
• Resolve engineering issues with design engineers, owner reps, and team members.
• Monitor field construction for compliance with plans and specs.
• Engage in work sequence planning.
• Prepare and monitor work packages, including labor and cost estimates.
• Track construction progress and update status weekly.
• Organize project records in a document control system.
• Mentor new engineers in their roles and training.
• Assist the project manager in additional duties.
• Estimate future work.
