Job summary

Victaulic in Easton, PA seeks a Project Engineer – Materials Technology to drive development and commercialization of products using advanced materials. You’ll gain hands-on experience in polymer processing and instrumental analysis, leading multi-department teams from design through commercialization.

The role requires 2–5 years in materials, polymer knowledge, and strong communication. On-site with relocation support and immigration not provided. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical, Materials or Polymer Engineering; MS a plus.
• 2–5 years of experience in material selection, testing, and validation.
• Knowledge of polymeric material testing and failure analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead design concepts and develop ideas to meet product concepts.
• Model concepts through drawings or hardware and present to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Marketing/Sales to meet customer needs.
• Oversee prototyping and testing to verify requirements.
• Lead design reviews and approve tooling based on samples.
• Support pilot production and resolve production issues.
• Prepare technical literature and train teams.
