Job summary

You will gain hands-on experience in polymer processing and analytical testing while leading multi-department teams from design through commercialization.

The role requires a BS in Chemical/Materials/Polymer Engineering, 2–5 years of experience, and ability to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical/Materials/Polymer Engineering; MS a plus.
• 2–5 years in material selection, testing and validation.
• Knowledge of polymeric material testing and failure analysis.
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% globally.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept generation and develop design ideas to satisfy product concepts.
• Model designs through drawings or hardware and present to stakeholders.
• Partner with Marketing and Sales to meet customer requirements.
• Estimate initial design costs and prepare project authorizations.
• Oversee prototyping and testing against requirements (thermal, mechanical, chemical).
• Lead design reviews to confirm customer and performance needs are met.
