Job summary

Victaulic in Easton, PA seeks a Project Engineer - Materials Technology to drive development and commercialization of advanced materials across product lines, including thermosets, coatings, composites, and metals. You’ll gain hands-on experience in polymer processing, and guide multi-department teams from design through commercialization.

Responsibilities include leading design reviews, prototyping, supplier selection, cost estimation, and ensuring customer and performance requirements are met,

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical, Materials, or Polymer Engineering (MS a plus).
• 2–5 years of experience in material selection, testing, and validation.
• Knowledge of polymeric material testing and failure analysis.
• Ability to travel globally up to 20%.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept generation and develop design ideas to satisfy product concepts.
• Model concepts through drawings/hardware and communicate with stakeholders.
• Partner with Marketing and Sales to refine concepts to customer requirements.
• Oversee prototyping and testing against requirements.
• Lead design reviews to meet customer and performance requirements.
