Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting is seeking a hands-on Project Engineer for manufacturing and process equipment in Phoenix, AZ. You will own multiple projects from drawings and equipment selection through RFQs, installation and startup.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Experience leading technical projects from design through implementation.
• Strong customer-facing and vendor communication experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
• Experience with food, beverage, dairy, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, packaging, or process equipment preferred.
• Powder/bulk material handling experience is a major plus.
• Autodesk Inventor and/or 3D scanning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering execution across multiple industrial/manufacturing projects.
• Develop and review equipment layouts and drawings in AutoCAD.
• Handle equipment selection, RFQs, technical coordination, and vendor communication.
• Support installation, commissioning, and startup strategy.
• Manage schedules, deliverables, technical issues, and changing customer requirements.
• Serve as a key technical point of contact for customers.
• Identify problems early and develop practical engineering solutions.
• Work closely with internal project management, sales, and engineering teams.
