Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.

Responsibilities

  • Process Development Project Management – ensuring completion from start to finish.
  • Supports and/or leads product launch activities.
  • Review engineering specifications, process flows, and other information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and services.
  • Define how to manufacture parts or products, or deliver services, with maximum efficiency.
  • Develop quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs.
  • Work with customers and management to develop standards for design and production.
  • Confer with clients concerning product specifications, vendors about purchases, management personnel about manufacturing capabilities, and staff about the status of projects.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement initiatives to improve production metrics and financial performance.
  • Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.
  • Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
  • Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
  • Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians

Our client is a high-tech facilities manufacturer looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to be responsible for fabrication & assembly processes, continuous improvement, tooling, and manufacturing and plant layouts

Qualifications
