Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage process development projects from start to finish.
• Support and/or lead product launch activities.
• Review engineering specs and process flows to improve manufacturing methods.
• Define manufacturing approaches for maximum efficiency.
• Develop quality control procedures to resolve production problems and minimize costs.
• Collaborate with customers and management to set design and production standards.
• Communicate with clients, vendors, management, and staff on project status.
• Develop and implement initiatives to improve production metrics and financial performance.
• Study product requirements to design and test manufacturing methods and equipment.
• Estimate costs and resources for manufacturing decisions.
• Train and guide technicians on design and development projects.
