Qualifications

• Eye for detail and deep understanding of manufacturing processes and materials used in fastener markets.
• Hands-on bias and thorough analytical methods for problem solving.
• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with operators, tooling engineering and operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals for product and process requirements.
• Create internal drawings and processing methods documented in an engineering master.
• Develop PFMEAs and control plans with quality to ensure robust processes.
• Conduct value stream mapping and LEAN analysis to identify cost and lead time improvements.
• Define machine requirements and work with sourcing to deploy equipment.
• Perform Gemba walks to gather feedback from the floor for continuous improvement.
