Job summary

U.S. Engineering Metalworks is seeking a Project Engineer to organize work through an in-house platform, collect data, estimate labor, and support productivity, quality, and safety across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
• 1 or more years of job-related experience.
• General knowledge of commercial/industrial mechanical systems, fabrication, and installation.
• General knowledge of manufacturing operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organizes the work via an in-house technology platform, including data collection, data input, and estimating.
• Supports productivity, quality and safety in manufacturing operations using knowledge of design, fabrication, methods and quality control.
• Estimates using standard labor tables (MCAA + SMACNA) to generate labor estimates; identifies and prices non-standard work.
• Communicates project information clearly to team members to deliver timely, accurate data.
