Job summary

U.S. Engineering Metalworks seeks a Project Engineer to organize work through an in‑house platform, with focus on data collection, estimating, and coordinating productivity, quality, and safety across manufacturing operations.

The role requires a BS in engineering or construction management and 1+ year of relevant experience, plus knowledge of commercial/industrial mechanical systems and strong problem-solving abilities. Some travel may be required.

• Ability to read and interpret project data and communicate findings.
• Strong MS Office and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead data collection and estimating via the in‑house platform.
• Support productivity, quality, and safety in manufacturing operations.
• Communicate project information clearly to team members for timely data delivery.
• Apply standard labor tables (MCAA + SMACNA) for labor estimates; price non-standard work.
• Research and solve operational challenges affecting facility and manufacturing processes.
