Job summary

U.S. Engineering Metalworks is seeking a Project Engineer to organize work through our in-house platform, assist estimating, and support productivity, quality, and safety in manufacturing operations. A BS in engineering or construction management is preferred and 1+ year’s related experience is expected.

Candidates should know the basics of mechanical systems and fabrication, with strong MS Office skills. This role involves cross-functional collaboration, data interpretation, and problem solving

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
• 1+ years of job-related experience.
• Knowledge of commercial/industrial mechanical systems, fabrication, and installation.
• General knowledge of manufacturing operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organize work using an in-house technology platform and support estimating.
• Contribute to safety and quality programs in manufacturing operations.
• Communicate project information clearly to team members for timely data sharing.
• Leverage standard labor tables to generate labor estimates and price non-standard work.
