Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or related field is required.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Strong Excel and MS Office proficiency required.
• Working knowledge of Procore or similar construction software is a plus; blueprint reading is required.
• Knowledge of scheduling and estimating software, Primavera P6, is desired.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly meetings and transcribe detailed meeting minutes clearly and accurately.
• Inspect construction site daily and coordinate with subcontractors to schedule deliveries.
• Review designs and drawings for installation of materials and qualifications.
• Review all submittals and shop drawings for contract‑document compliance.
• Research and resolve drawing interpretation problems and initiate RFIs as needed.
• Initiates and processes RFIs and reviews RFI responses for completeness.
• Understand and maintain the PCO process, including change order handling.
• Manage distribution of submittals, RFIs, close-out documents, and punch lists.
• Review Expediting Log and coordinate submittals between subcontractors.
• Prepare field design change requisitions and as-built drawings when required.
• Prepare status reports, sketches of work, and material calculations for supervision.
• Assess design viability and perform value engineering where appropriate.
• Attend meetings with contractors, subcontractors, clients, and A/E representatives.
• Demonstrate knowledge of construction equipment, drawings, materials, and standards.
• Observe field construction work and participate in job walks for status updates.
• Generate queries and reports in Procore and related systems.
