Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to provide technical leadership for a demanding program in Colorado Springs, CO. The role oversees design/analysis tasks, tests, and studies while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet program goals.

Responsibilities include interpreting specs, producing design requirements, staying current with technologies, and guiding RCCA resolutions. A secret clearance is required and prior release train experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience; graduate degree with 2 years of related experience; or equivalent 8 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Active secret security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide imaginative, thorough, and practicable solutions to a wide range of technical problems.
• Read, interpret, and write specifications and technical documents.
• Prepare technical and design requirements in support of project goals.
• Keep current in relevant technologies and methods for project assignments.
• Provide direction in problem investigations and RCCA processes across functions.
• Review and approve engineering drawings.
• Release Train Engineer to adhere to Agile cadence for the program.
