Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Colorado Springs is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Engineer to lead a multi-discipline engineering team across software development, integration, verification, validation, and test.

You will drive technical strategy, staffing, and performance management while collaborating with cross-functional groups to deliver complex engineering solutions for national security programs.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of related software engineering and system integration experience.
• Proven leadership of technical teams across full product lifecycle.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, Kanban, and TDD.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-discipline engineering team across software development, integration, verification, validation, and test to meet requirements.
• Provide technical and organizational leadership for software development and Integration & Test activities across full lifecycle.
• Oversee planning and execution of integration and test efforts, including test strategies, readiness, procedures, and environments.
• Participate in architecture, design, code, integration, and test readiness reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop reliable, testable solutions.
• Ensure disciplined engineering processes and continuous improvement across teams.
• Communicate status, issues, milestones, and results to leadership.
• Lead staffing, mentoring, and career development for engineers.
