L3Harris Colorado Springs is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Project Engineer to provide technical leadership on design, analysis, and testing coordination. Under general direction, you will implement requirements, oversee studies, and guide teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's or higher with several years of related experience; strong RCCA, documentation, and communication skills are essential in a defense-focused environment with a comprehensive benefits package and a 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience; Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide imaginative, thorough, and practicable solutions to a wide range of technical problems involving conventional engineering techniques.
• Read, interpret, and write specifications and technical documents.
• Prepare technical and design requirements in support of project goals.
• Keep current in relevant technologies and methods in support of project assignments.
• Provide direction in problem investigations and resolution across functional areas.
• Understand and/or lead RCCA process.
• Review and approve engineering drawings.
