Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking an entry-level estimator support to assist construction engineering operations. You will interpret drawings for takeoffs, prepare reports, and support change orders and estimates.

A High School Diploma or GED is required, with pursuit of a bachelor’s degree encouraged. Candidates should be comfortable with MS Office, perform basic trig calculations, and communicate effectively with team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; working toward a bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to perform trigonometric calculations and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings for takeoff and bidding and assess workforce needs.
• Prepare and distribute status reports, punch lists, and sketches for projects.
• Provide technical support on materials, deliveries, and schedules.
• Assist with change orders and estimate support with drawings.
• Develop data for quantities and material pricing to support bids.
• Maintain records of quantities and materials for cost controls.
