Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Engineer 1 to support construction projects on-site in Georgia. You will assist with field execution, safety compliance, quality plans, and the coordination of materials, drawings and submittals to keep projects on schedule.

You will engage with the project team to monitor crew performance, prepare reports, and assist in closeout documentation, including manuals and as-builts, while applying JE Dunn’s standards and lean practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Learn and participate in safety and quality plans and culture to support an injury-free environment.
• Participate in QA/QC planning to ensure quality for tasks.
• Assist with estimating and change management processes and toolkit usage.
• On-site support with project team on crew size, self-perform hours, materials and equipment.
• Assist with punch lists, city inspections, safety and quality reviews, documentation.
• Post drawings and specifications with the most recent information; organize project meetings and reports.
• Prepare and disseminate project documentation and reports to support scheduling and progress tracking.
• Support project closeout activities including punch lists, O&M manuals and as-built drawings.
