Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support environmental, health and safety programs for industrial clients. The role focuses on environmental compliance, air permitting, wastewater reporting, and SPCC/SWPPP plan development.

The candidate should have a four-year degree in environmental engineering or related fields, with at least two years of industry or consulting experience. Travel 2–3 days per week is expected, with occasional overnight trips.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree in environmental engineering, occupational health and safety, or related scientific/technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial/consulting experience in environmental and safety programs.
• Experience with on-site industrial manufacturing operations, chemical manufacturing operations, or mining operations.
• Working knowledge of RCRA, CWA, CAA, EPCRA, and OSHA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs and assessments.
• Prepare and support air emissions inventories, permit applications, and reporting.
• Develop SPCC plans and SWPPPs.
• Advise on hazardous waste management, TRI and Tier II reporting.
• Participate in on-site inspections and prepare inspection reports.
• Develop and monitor OSHA policies and procedures.
• Manage multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
