Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to support environmental, health and safety programs for industrial and mining operations. You will develop air permits, SPCC and SWPPP plans, and coordinate on-site assessments for multiple client projects.

The role requires a four-year degree in environmental engineering or a related field, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Some travel to client sites will be necessary.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities are essential.
• Analytical mindset with ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Experience with environmental and safety program documentation is a plus.
• Engineering in Training (EIT) status preferred.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with environmental, health and safety programs and assessments.
• Prepare air emissions inventories, permit applications, and reporting.
• Develop SPCC plans and SWPPPs.
• Consult on solid and hazardous waste management and regulatory support.
• Support EPCRA TRI and Tier II reporting.
• Prepare pretreatment wastewater and discharge permit applications.
• Participate in on-site inspections and routine reporting.
• Develop and enforce OSHA policies and procedures.
• Manage multiple projects within scope, budget and schedule.
