Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Environmental, Project Engineer (EPE) to assist clients with environmental, health and safety programs. This role focuses on environmental responsibilities with some OSHA and safety duties.

You will manage multiple projects and travel locally to client sites. Ideal candidates hold a four-year degree in environmental fields and have 2+ years of industrial or consulting experience.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree in environmental engineering, occupational health and safety, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years industrial/consulting experience in environmental and safety programs.
• Experience with on-site industrial manufacturing, chemical, or mining operations.
• Working knowledge of RCRA, CWA, CAA, EPCRA, and OSHA regulations preferred.
• Engineering in Training (EIT) preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills; experience with technical writing.
• Ability to recognize onsite risk factors and act accordingly.
• Local travel 2-3 days per week, with overnight travel approximately once per month.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and support of air emissions inventories, permits, and reporting.
• Development and execution of SPCC (Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure) plans.
• Development and execution of SWPPPs.
• Waste management consulting and regulatory support.
• EPCRA TRI and Tier II evaluations and reporting.
• Prepare industrial pretreatment wastewater reports and permit applications.
• Participate in on-site inspections, sampling, and report prep.
• Develop and ensure OSHA policies and procedures compliance.
• Manage multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Travel locally 2-3 days/week and monthly overnight travel.
