EHS Project Engineer: Industrial Environmental Leader

Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Environmental, Project Engineer to support clients with EHS programs and assessments, focusing on air, water, waste, and OSHA compliance across manufacturing and mining operations.

You will manage multiple projects, develop SPCC/SWPPP plans, perform inspections, and work with regulatory requirements (RCRA, CWA, CAA, EPCRA, OSHA). Travel 2–3 days per week is required.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree in environmental engineering, OH&S, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial or consulting experience in environmental and safety programs.
• Experience with on-site industrial manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, or mining operations.
• Working knowledge of RCRA, CWA, CAA, EPCRA, and OSHA regulations preferred.
• Engineering in Training (EIT) preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills; experience with technical writing.
• Willingness to travel 2-3 days per week with occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare air emissions inventories and permit applications.
• Develop SPCC plans and SWPPP plans.
• Provide waste management consulting and regulatory support.
• Prepare TRI and Tier II evaluations and reports.
• Prepare industrial pretreatment wastewater flow and self-monitoring reports.
• Assist in on-site inspections and sampling.
• Develop OSHA policies and ensure compliance.
• Manage multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
