Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. seeks an Environmental Project Engineer (EPE) to support clients with environmental, health and safety programs and assessments. The role focuses on air emissions, SPCC, SWPPP, and regulatory compliance across industrial settings.

You will manage multiple projects, collaborate with clients and internal teams, and ensure documentation and reporting meet EPA, RCRA and OSHA standards. Travel 2-3 days per week is expected.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree in environmental engineering, occupational health and safety, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial and/or consulting experience.
• Experience with on-site industrial manufacturing operations, chemical manufacturing operations, and/or mining operations.
• Knowledge of RCRA, CWA, CAA, EPCRA, and OSHA regulations preferred.
• Engineering in Training (EIT) preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills; experience with technical writing.
• Ability to recognize onsite risk factors and take appropriate action.
• Local travel 2-3 days per week, with overnight travel approximately once per month.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs and assessments.
• Prepare and support air emissions inventories and air permit documentation.
• Develop and execute SPCC plans and SWPPPs.
• Provide waste management consulting and regulatory support.
• Perform EPCRA TRI and Tier II evaluations and reporting.
• Prepare pretreatment wastewater flow and permit applications; assist with inspections and reports.
• Develop OSHA policies and procedures; participate in on-site inspections.
• Manage multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule requirements.
