Job summary

Arcfield in Herndon, VA seeks a Project Engineer to support senior leadership by maintaining action-item trackers, coordinating schedules, and preparing polished management packages. You will facilitate information sessions, document requirements, and drive program管理 with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a technical or business discipline.
  • Experience facilitating groups to capture work processes and workflows.
  • Broad understanding of acquisition activities and protocols.
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to engage executive audiences.
  • Experience coordinating project schedules and preparing briefings/presentations.

Job description

Responsibilities

The Project Engineer will support the Customer by multitasking effectively in a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities, tracking action items, identifying and understanding requirements, and supporting division-level communications.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist in the preparation of management plans and reports; design and/or modify comprehensive briefing packages with data and information that will resonate with Senior Leadership
  • Support the facilitation of and response to action items and accesses for incoming and outgoing personnel
  • Assist in the identification and tracking of action items, tracking and monitoring of ongoing projects and initiatives, coordination of project schedules, and capture of meeting minutes
  • Facilitate meetings and information sessions with stakeholders and/or developers
  • Assist the Sponsor with assessing, documenting, and tracking program requirements and follow-on Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs)
  • Compose and maintain correspondence documentation (e.g., operating procedures, internal memoranda, organizational charts, personnel lists, and phone trees)
  • Coordinate with teams, as applicable, to address roadblocks and deliver results in a timely manner or provide the most relevant course of action
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries for senior managers and serve as the travel representative for required documentation
  • Support the Customer with floor space and resource planning
  • Maintain check-in and check-out processes for staff and contractors, including providing and maintaining up to date welcome documentation
  • Manage the office supply budget and ordering
  • Coordinate training and appointments
  • Obtain passports and visas as needed, update employee records, and provide process guidance to travelers
  • Initiate various correspondence and, at the direction of the Sponsor, communicate with other Sponsor elements and government agencies in support of TDY and PCS activities
Qualifications
  • Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline
  • BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating groups to capture work processes and workflows
  • Broad understanding of the Customer's acquisition activities and protocols
  • Exceptional communication skills and familiarity with the Customer environment, with the ability to communicate effectively at the project level and with executive audiences.
  • Experience working at the executive level, with the ability to coordinate, communicate, and develop polished policies for dissemination
  • Ability to fully coordinate project schedules
  • Ability to coordinate program management process activities such as Program Reviews and Control Gate Reviews, including scheduling meetings and preparing briefings and presentations
  • Ability to assist in the preparation of management plans and reports
  • Ability to maintain correspondence suspense files, records, files for reports, operating procedures, internal memoranda, and compose correspondence
  • Ability to compose technical documents, including user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports
  • Ability to fully perform tasks requiring the collection, compilation, evaluation, and publicationof information and statistical data
Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience
  • 1 year of experience in the Intelligence Community
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • Ability to coordinate with engineers, system analysts, programmers, technicians, scientists, and top-level managers in the coordination and planning of programs
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
Equal Pay Act

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, Arcfield's benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, Short Term and Long-Term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections.Min: $88,878.72Max: $154.542.84
