Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies seeks an Engineer II in San Clemente, CA for a 24-month assignment. This role combines design evaluation, code compliance, and project coordination with multiple engineering disciplines.

Location: San Clemente with remote on Fridays. You will gather data, perform analyses, develop designs, and guide contractors and vendors to successful task completion, while maintaining budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree or PE certification plus five years of engineering experience.
• 1.5 years of increasingly challenging engineering experience.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to project teams for engineering problems.
• Evaluate job requests to determine scope and requirements.
• Gather data, perform calculations and prepare designs.
• Follow up on implementation of recommendations and assess accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate all activities leading to successful completion of tasks and small projects.
