Job summary

inSync Staffing seeks an electrical engineer in San Clemente, CA, for a hybrid onsite role (Mon-Thu onsite; Fri remote). You will evaluate SAIDI/CAIDI circuits, develop reliability improvement projects, and present proposals to the reliability team.

A BS from ABET-accredited school is required, with strong skills in power system studies and communication of complex electrical concepts. The position involves coordinating small projects, estimating costs, and directing internal and external staff

Qualifications

• Knowledge of power system studies and electrical distribution systems.
• Ability to communicate complex electrical concepts to customers.
• Prepare or assist in the preparation of engineering designs, specifications, standards, studies, cost estimates and the development of sound technical recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to project teams for evaluation of engineering problems and designs.
• Gather data, perform calculations and prepare designs to develop sound conclusions and recommendations.
• Manage and coordinate all activities leading to the successful completion of tasks and small projects including scoping, budgeting, design and start-up.
• Interpret codes and standards and recommend modifications to company policies and procedures.
• Stay current with industry changes through conferences and continuing education.
• Coordinate input from various departments to meet project objectives.
