Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Engineer 2 to support routine construction and field execution on projects. You will participate in the construction process, assist with QA/QC, estimates, schedules, and documentation on site, and collaborate with the project team to keep work aligned with plans and budgets.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years construction experience.
• Strong MS Office skills and ability to read plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Support routine construction and field execution responsibilities on projects.
• Assist with QA/QC planning and documentation.
• Monitor crew size, materials, quantities and equipment on site.
• Prepare and disseminate project reports and daily/weekly updates.
• Maintain project logs, drawings, and closeout documents.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to keep schedules and budgets.
• Contribute to safety plans and ensure compliance on site.
