Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services, a Westinghouse subsidiary, is hiring an Engineer II / Project Manager to lead capital engineering projects from initiation through completion for base and strategic initiatives. You will manage scope, budget, schedule, safety and quality while coordinating procurement, inspections, and vendor oversight across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required or equivalent experience.
• 5–7+ years of engineering experience preferred for Level II roles.
• Minimum 2+ years of project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle project management including scope development, execution, and closeout.
• Validate project justification and ensure stakeholder requirements are incorporated into scope.
• Manage project budget, schedule, quality, and safety performance.
• Coordinate procurement activities including hiring engineering consultants, contractors, and ordering materials/equipment.
• Oversee project execution and conduct periodic field visits to monitor progress.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements for vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
• Review and support design documentation and engineering drawings.
• Conduct vendor/shop inspections and witness equipment testing when needed.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, environmental, sourcing, project controls, and engineering teams.
• Facilitate project closeout and transition to operations teams
