Job summary

Westinghouse's WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking a Project Management Consultant on behalf of our client for a 1-year contract (W-2). You will support planning and coordination of electrical infrastructure and grid-related projects, including transmission, substation, and compliance-driven initiatives.

Ideal candidates have an electrical engineering background or equivalent power/utility experience, 1+ year in PM or related fields, and can work with engineering, operations, vendors, and

Qualifications

• 1 year or more years of experience in project management, engineering support, or utility/energy projects.
• Electrical Engineering degree preferred (or equivalent power/utility experience).
• Experience with grid compliance or regulated utility programs and transmission lines, substations, or power infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Support project execution across electrical, transmission, substation, or grid‑compliance programs.
• Develop and maintain schedules, milestones, and action tracking using MS Project and Smartsheet.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, vendors, and compliance team members.
• Track risks, issues, costs, and deliverables; support change management.
• Prepare status reports, meeting notes, and project documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and site visits.
