Job summary

Manhattan Construction Company is seeking a Project Engineer 2 to assist the Project Manager on assigned construction projects. You will perform routine daily activities, gather and distribute information, and thrive as a flexible team player with strong client service skills.

This role requires coordination of trades, submittals, RFIs, permits, and procurement, while maintaining schedule updates and project reporting. Join a financially strong firm with diverse communities projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent, or 2 years of industry experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under direct supervision and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Setup initial contracts and project information.
• Coordinate various trades.
• Review/forward/track submittals and RFIs.
• Assist in permit process and procurement.
• Update construction schedule based on team input.
• Attend and/or lead project meetings; record minutes.
• Support monthly owner project status reports.
