Job summary

The Project Engineer 2 at Manhattan Construction supports the Project Manager on assigned projects, handling routine tasks, information flow, and coordination with trades. This role emphasizes strong communication, client service, and teamwork on a dynamic construction site.

You'll contribute to scheduling, submittals, RFIs, procurement, and quality oversight, with growth opportunities across our nationwide portfolio and office network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering, or 2 years of industry experience.
• Experience in interiors is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication required.

Responsibilities

• Setup initial contracts and project information.
• Coordinate various trades.
• Resolve design coordination issues.
• Review, forward, and track submittals.
• Oversee & manage the RFI process.
• Assist in project permit management.
• Assist in preparations of bid packages and procurement.
• Update construction schedule based on input from team and trade progress.
• Track material deliveries.
• Attend and/or lead project meetings and record minutes.
