Job summary

Manhattan Construction Company is seeking a Project Engineer 2 to assist and support the Project Manager on assigned projects. The role requires coordination with trades, documentation control, and timely submittal review to keep projects moving smoothly.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, basic math/accounting, and the ability to read drawings and specifications. Travel and physical site work are possible in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree- Construction Management, Engineering, equivalent degree, or 2 years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up initial contracts and project information.
• Coordinate various trades.
• Review and resolve design coordination issues.
• Review, forward, and track submittals.
• Oversee and manage the RFI process.
• Assist in management of the project permit process.
• Prepare bid packages and procurement.
• Identify long-lead items and set procurement priorities.
• Update construction schedule with input from the project team.
