Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager with project administration, schedules, and coordination with owners, general contractors, and subcontractors. You will support submittals, change orders, and material releases while tracking costs and deliveries.

The role requires basic knowledge of project plans, strong MS Office skills, and effective written and verbal communication. This is an on-site position supporting field activities and shop drawing management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 0 - 3 years of experience.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Understands project plans and specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, preparation, and finalization of project schedule.
• Procure and submit all project submittal information and manage approvals.
• Assist with administration of subcontract requirements and change orders.
• Coordinate communications from owners, general contractors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure quality control procedures are followed per contract documents.
• Assist in monthly billings, cost projections, and weekly logs.
• Record information in Project Control systems with target dates.
• Manage shop drawings through project stages and field installation.
