Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in El Paso, TX is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer 1 to support construction and field execution on advanced facilities projects. You will work under the project team to learn processes, tools, and best practices that drive project success.

You will assist with general construction management, punch lists, documentation, and reporting, while prioritizing safety, quality, and Lean principles. The role offers growth opportunities within our Advanced Facilities group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in construction related field.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Familiarity with project documentation and QA/QC processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Support general construction management and field execution.
• Assist with punch lists, inspections and documentation.
• Observe safety programs and quality plans on site.
• Maintain project reports and daily logs.
• Coordinate with trades, vendors and project team.
