Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Oklahoma City seeks a Project Engineer I to support construction and field execution, applying company standards, processes and tools. You’ll assist with general construction management, punch lists and self-perform work to understand the building process and how JE Dunn delivers projects.

You will work with the project team, participate in safety and quality plans, QA/QC, prepare documentation and reports, and learn Lean practices while supporting procurement, scheduling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Learn and participate in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participate with QA/QC planning to ensure quality for assigned tasks.
• Assist in estimating and change management processes and tools, including quantity take-off.
• Work on site with project team to support monitoring crew size, materials, quantity and equipment.
• Participate in punch lists, inspections, safety reviews, quality reviews and documentation.
• Prepare and organize drawings and specifications with latest information.
• Attend project meetings and disseminate required documentation.
