Fransen Pittman General Contractors in Englewood, CO is seeking a Project Engineer I to coordinate trade partner needs and address conflicts, ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish. The candidate will use deep knowledge of plans and specs to resolve questions and support QA/QC processes.

The role requires a 4-year degree or AS with experience, strong MS Office/Bluebeam skills, and ability to read project documents.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management or 2-year AS in Construction Management with 2 years' experience
• Strong technology skills; proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Bluebeam; Revit/Revizto a plus
• Ability to read and understand all project documents (plans, specs)
• Professional communication with all levels of personnel and external clients/partners
• Ability to collaborate as a team and work independently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high attention to detail
• OSHA 30-hour certification is a plus
• Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Gather lead times for materials and ensure timely review/approval to meet the schedule
• Coordinate material deliveries with subcontractors and site superintendent
• Review submittals before architect approval
• Generate RFIs to the design team
• Distribute updated plans/specs to all subcontractors
• Assist with permits before project start
• Create and distribute punch lists to subcontractors for timely completion
• Compile owner/operations manuals and warranties from subs
• Gather Revizto and RevIT files for import
• Assist in developing the Project-specific QA/QC plan
• Maintain project documentation and files
