Job summary

Matukat Construction seeks a Project Engineer to manage document control, procurement, quality assurance, and field coordination on Colorado projects. You will support the PM to deliver on time and on budget while upholding high standards.

Role requires strong organization, clear communication, and travel to job sites. You will read drawings, track RFIs/submittals, manage logs, and coordinate with subs and BIM processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years in construction project management or field engineering.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, CMiC, and reading blueprints.
• Familiarity with BIM and Autodesk tools.

Responsibilities

• Documents control: reads scopes, manages RFIs and submittals, tracks logs.
• Procurement: supports logs, coordinates delivery, flags long-lead items.
• Quality: supports site Quality Plans, tracks punch lists, verifies installs.
• Field coordination: attends meetings, coordinates with subs, supports BIM, trains teams.
