Job summary

Fransenpittman in Englewood, CO is seeking a Project Engineer I to coordinate needs and resolve conflicts among trade partners to keep projects running smoothly from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree or 2-year degree with experience, strong technology skills (MS Word/Outlook/Excel/Bluebeam) and familiarity with Revit/Revizto. OSHA 30 is a plus, and you will work closely with architects, subcontractors, and site leadership.

Qualifications

• 4 year B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management or 2 year A.S. in Construction management PLUS 2 years full time work experience
• Strong technology skills: MS Word/Outlook/Excel/Bluebeam; Revit and Revizto a plus
• Ability to read and understand all project documents (plans, specs, etc)
• Professionally communicate with all levels and external clients/partners
• OSHA 30-hour certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Gather lead times for materials and ensure timely approvals to meet construction schedule
• Coordinate delivery of materials with subcontractors and site superintendent
• Thorough reviews of submittals before forwarding to Architect for approval
• Generate RFIs to the design team
• Distribute up-to-date plans and specs to all subcontractors
• Assist with obtaining permits before project start
• Create and distribute punch lists to subcontractors for timely completion
• Compile owner & operations manuals and warranties from subcontractors
• Gather Revit & Navisworks files for import into Revizto
• Assist with developing the Project Specific QA/QC plan
• Maintain project documentation and files
