Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the technical development of a hypersonic rocket motor in Promontory, UT. You will manage design, engineering & manufacturing development, coordinate with the program office, and liaise with customers as the technical point of contact.

The role demands collaboration across teams, travel up to 10%, and experience in system engineering, lean practices, and EVMS processes. A relevant STEM degree and security clearances are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with required experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain US government clearances (Secret).
• NX solid modeling capability is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate across IPTs with PEs on design, process, and product.
• Develop program execution plans with the Program Office.
• Interface with the Customer as the technical POC.
• Support production operations and development of test plans.
• Lead milestones reviews with Senior Leadership and Customers.
