Job summary

Texas AirSystems in Houston, TX is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to learn all aspects of our products and systems to estimate and manage projects. You will coordinate submittals, equipment selection, pricing and ship dates for each project, maintain files, and work with Sales, Customers and Manufacturers to ensure timely completion and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience or coursework in MEP consulting, architecture, design or construction is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage high-volume projects.
• Strong PC skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain job files for each project throughout its duration.
• Coordinate submittals, equipment selection, pricing and ship dates for each project.
• Manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis.
• Communicate with owners, architects, MEP consultants and contractors.
• Organize project data for order entry.
• Respond to and track IOM & Submittal requests.
• Read and interpret building plans & specifications.
• Develop relationships with customers, contractors, engineers and manufacturers.
• Determine project requirements and ensure design/installation/maintenance expectations are met.
