Job summary

Texas AirSystems in Texas is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to learn all aspects of our products and systems to estimate and manage projects. You will coordinate submittals, equipment selection, pricing and ship dates for each project, while maintaining customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate with owners, architects, engineers and contractors.

Qualifications

• MEP, architecture, design and CAD knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage high-volume projects.
• Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain job files for each project.
• Optimize the project through product selection, specifications, plans, estimates, proposals, value engineering and redesigns.
• Manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis.
• Communicate with owners, architects, MEP consultants and contractors.
• Organize project data for order entry.
• Respond to and track IOM and submittal requests.
• Read, understand and interpret building plans and specifications.
• Develop and grow relationships with customers, contractors, project engineers and manufacturers.
• Determine project requirements and sales team responsibilities to meet design, installation and maintenance expectations.
• Investigate concerns, implement corrective action and communicate with customers and co-workers to maximize satisfaction.
