Job summary

Texas AirSystems in Texas is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to learn all aspects of our products and systems, coordinating submittals, equipment selection, pricing, and ship dates for each project.

You will work closely with the Sales Team, Customers, and Manufacturers to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction while handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in MEP consulting, architecture, design, CAD, general contracting, or construction industry is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, manage high-volume projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain job files for each project throughout its duration.
• Optimize the project through product selection, specs, plans, estimates, proposals and value engineering.
• Manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis.
• Communicate with owners, architects, MEP consultants and contractors.
• Organize project data for order entry.
• Respond to and track IOM and Submittal requests.
• Read and interpret building plans and specs.
• Develop and grow relationships with customers, contractors, engineers and manufacturers.
• Determine project requirements, constraints, and sales team responsibilities to meet customer expectations.
• Investigate concerns and implement corrective actions to maximize customer satisfaction.
