Job summary
Top Echelon Software, LLC in Savannah, GA is seeking a Project Engineer for a major interstate widening project. You will run submittals, RFIs, quantities, and cost tracking, with field exposure on bridge and highway work.

Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- 2+ years of project or field engineering on heavy civil highway, bridge or DOT projects.
- Hands-on experience with submittals, RFIs, quantities and cost tracking.
- GDOT/SCDOT or similar DOT experience is a plus.
- Based in Savannah area or willing to relocate for a multiyear project.
Responsibilities
- Manage submittals and RFIs for your scope.
- Build quantity takeoffs, project logs and pay applications.
- Track cost against budget and assist monthly cost reporting.
- Assist updates to the project schedule in Primavera P6.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and material deliveries.
- Work with inspectors and design engineers on field issues.
- Read plans, specs, traffic control and environmental requirements.
- Spend significant time in the field on bridge and roadway work.
- Support the Senior Project Engineer, Project Manager and Superintendent.
