Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Project Engineer for a major multiyear interstate widening project in the Savannah, GA area. This role targets candidates with highway or bridge experience who want a long runway to Senior Project Engineer, handling submittals, RFIs, quantities and cost tracking.

You'll spend real time in the field, coordinate with DOT inspectors and design engineers, and support the Senior Project Engineer, Project Manager and Superintendent on a landmark project in the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field required.
• 2+ years of project or field engineering on heavy civil highway, bridge or DOT projects.
• Experience with submittals, RFIs, quantities and cost tracking.

Responsibilities

• Run submittals and RFIs for your scope.
• Build quantity takeoffs and project logs; prepare pay applications.
• Track cost against budget; assist with monthly cost reports.
• Update the project schedule in Primavera P6.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and material deliveries.
• Work with DOT inspectors and design engineers on field issues.
• Read plans, specs, traffic control and environmental requirements.
• Spend real time in the field on bridge and roadway work; support leadership.
