Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer for a large multiyear interstate widening project around Savannah, GA. You will handle submittals, RFIs, quantities, and cost tracking while coordinating field activities on bridge and roadway work.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in heavy civil highway/bridge/DOT projects, a Civil Engineering or related degree, and the ability to work in the Savannah area or relocate for the multiyear assignment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project or field engineering on heavy civil highway, bridge or DOT projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Hands on with submittals, RFIs, quantities and cost tracking.

Responsibilities

• Run submittals and RFIs for your scope.
• Build quantity takeoffs, project logs and pay application backup.
• Track cost against budget and help with monthly cost reports.
• Help update the project schedule in Primavera P6.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and material deliveries.
• Work with DOT inspectors and design engineers on field issues.
• Read and interpret plans, specs, traffic control and environmental requirements.
• Spend real time in the field on bridge and roadway work.
• Support the Senior Project Engineer, Project Manager and Superintendent.
