Job summary

Murray Company is seeking a Project Engineer to support construction project management in our Advanced Technologies division, focusing on process piping, cleanrooms, and tool installs. You will work with top project managers and field leaders to coordinate planning and execution across projects in the greater Sacramento area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical engineering or similar area of study.
• 2+ years of project engineering experience in mechanical contracting desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in planning work schedule, determining manpower levels, and arranging for assignment of project personnel.
• Assist in coordination of project personnel activities to keep project on schedule and within budget.
• Notify Project Manager of potential problems and assist in resolving schedule difficulties.
• Compose and/or edit letters, memos, reports and procedures as required.
• Oversee day-to-day administrative items per supervisor’s authorization.
• Prepare reports and data analyses as requested, with limited supervision.
