Murray Company is hiring a Project Engineer in Cypress, CA. This entry point into construction project management supports mechanical and piping projects across markets such as aviation, water treatment, and power plants.

You will assist in planning, coordination, and reporting to ensure projects meet time and budget goals. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in related fields and 3+ years of field/project engineering experience, with proficiency in Excel, MS Project, and Procore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical engineering or similar field.
• 3+ years of progressive project engineering experience at a mechanical contractor.
• Proficiency in Excel, MS Project, Procore and related enterprise tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in planning work schedule and manpower levels.
• Coordinate project personnel activities to keep progress on schedule and budget.
• Identify potential schedule conflicts and help resolve issues as needed.
• Prepare letters, memos, reports and procedures as required.
• Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks and reporting.
