Job summary

Murray Company Mechanical Contractors is seeking a Project Manager to lead advanced technologies mechanical piping projects, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence. You will guide a team from estimating through completion, coordinating with executives, estimators, and field operations to meet project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or strong relevant experience.
• 5+ years cradle-to-grave project management in commercial/industrial plumbing.
• Experience with process piping and full mechanical scopes.
• Proficiency in construction software tools listed.

Responsibilities

• Define scope of work with Executive Management and key stakeholders; create project execution plan and ensure safety of all staff.
• Maintain safety culture by observing and prioritizing safety; address deficiencies.
• Set up pre-planning meetings and establish project budget.
• Create workable schedules for cost control, labor, material, and equipment.
• Establish objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Review project progress with Executive Management throughout lifecycle.
• Meet weekly with field staff and coordinate with Purchasing on gear and material buys.
• Manage all contract finances; prepare cost-to-complete reports quarterly.
• Prepare and review monthly subcontractor billings; represent Murray Company in meetings.
• Assist in labor negotiations and strategic decision-making.
